An interesting fragrance progression

It's time to unpack a vintage miniature again! I really liked the Cassini Eau de Parfum in and of itself. With the rather dark color, however, I was expecting a more blatant performance. The longevity on my skin is 9 to 10 hours with a solid sillage.

The top note starts off a little sour (possibly tilted?) with lots of bergamot. Coriander brings greenish and herbaceous aromas to the fragrance. This is followed by an extremely jammy and sweet fruity note. Here I recognize oranges, mandarins and strawberries. The heart note offers a sea of flowers consisting of orange blossom, freesia, gardenia, tuberose, rose water, jasmine blossom, neroli, ylang-ylang, narcissus and garden carnations. Iris and violet provide a powdery note. A creamy coconut aroma is particularly noticeable in the base. Amber, musk, vetiver and leather can also be found in the background. Thanks to civet, an animal note also emerges. It also smells spicy-oriental in places.

I really liked Cassini Eau de Parfum, except for the sour top note.
