A great performance

A very fine whiff of soap surrounded her briefly as she came out of the bath.

Today would be her grand entrance. And she had everything planned out. She had been thinking for days about exactly what she wanted to wear.

She carefully slipped into the dress. It was tight on her body, emphasizing her curves very skilfully.

The heavy silk shimmered in a dark red. Interwoven with subtle earth-colored and various iridescent soft green ornaments.

It went perfectly with her peach skin and rose-red lips.
The dark kohl line gave her face a slightly oriental, perhaps even somewhat dramatic touch.

She tried to tame her brown curls with two small amber-colored combs.

No necklace, no bracelet, no rings.

Only a brooch, which absolutely masterfully depicted a wonderfully opulent bouquet of flowers, would pin it on. An extraordinary eye-catcher.

A light, delicately interwoven velvet cape that echoed the floral ornamentation of the brooch would keep her warm. It flowed around her shoulders.

The soft, muted orange-brown suede shoes completed the picture.

She ordered a cab in a pleasant, slightly smoky voice.

As she entered the hall with a smooth movement, the warm, spicy air of the night enveloped her through the open doors and her eyes were those of a large cat about to pounce.

Soooo beautifully and aptly described!
Oh, the brand was already cult in the USA back then.

Such a description, I am thrilled and always happy when there are new fragrances to discover that are older but therefore also very interesting. Thank you very much for this wonderfully opulent description of an equally opulent fragrance.

Your description reads wonderfully. The fragrance escaped me. It still sounds very much like the opulence of the 80s, when the early 90s still formed a threshold to the quieter fragrances that came later. But I like that very much.

Women should stand by their curves much more often. And a self-confident woman doesn't need to be pretentious. Great description!

Well, as a fashion designer, Oleg Cassini was used to grand entrances and red carpets (especially for his creations worn by the rich and famous of the world at the time), so it's not really surprising that a fragrance named after him would make such an impression.
Thank you very much for this slightly under-the-skin description.
