another saffron rose
This is a pleasant rose-saffron scent, initially lightened a bit by citrus and ginger. After it dries down, though, it seems to me indistinguishable from so many other saffron-rose scents. I wonder how it happens that suddenly every perfume series seems to launch something with the same notes? In the Parfumo database, there are 113 rose + saffron scents, and an additional 83 that have rose + saffron + oud.
So it's not that there's anything at all wrong with Pink Quartz. It's just that I've heard this song so many times before, and this rendition has no quirks that make it stand out in my mind.

For me it was a promising, rich rose that faded quickly to a cedar-like woodiness (no doubt the combination of the rosewood and frankincense). Not bad but was hoping for a longer lasting rose, given the price, and the bottle is kind of cheap looking.
