If incense would be dominant and rose a little more subdued it would probably work better (for me). There is a bit of green and rose-like scent which sometimes overpower incense and as I am not a rose-lover make it hard to bear. However, it does portray a very rich and special atmosphere so it is not hard to imagine a gold filled palace with roses and rose petals in pools and fountains while incense is burning in the corners of each of large rooms.
