A Swede with Greek Roots
Since I already own Espionage by Oriflame and liked it very much, I ordered another Swedish fragrance blindly.
Did I have less luck this time?
When my eagerly awaited package was finally delivered on Friday, I could finally take a picture of it.
The first thing that struck me was the even prettier design of the packaging; if this continues, Oriflame and I will surely become good friends.
Dark Wood is a fine, unobtrusive, and not overpowering unisex fragrance for nice evenings for two or a visit to a café.
However, I cannot confirm that it only contains guaiac wood as stated.
Dark Wood carries a light sweetness with it and, of course, guaiac wood; both harmonize excellently without one overshadowing the other.
At least for the first few minutes after application, it feels unique; afterwards, the Swede swims in Greek waters - the already discontinued Korres Jasmine Pepper Guaiac Wood - apart from the white chocolate, the Swede and the Greek woman are quite similar.
