Before judging the scents from Oriflame, I would find it advisable and informative to read the first two paragraphs from the comment by "Yatagan" on the Oriflame fragrance "Architect". After the pyramid of "Paradise", one expects a floral scent. But somewhat surprisingly, "Paradise" initially smells a bit citrusy and quite fruity, with Osmanthus and a distinct hint of pepper and a touch of green. The flowers are barely detectable in the background, a delicate, albeit synthetic floral veil. With a bit of goodwill, one might also perceive a hint of wood and then unfortunately for me, distinctly "Ambroxan", which is synthetic amber scent. This suggests a fairly good longevity, at least regarding the Ambroxan. "Paradise" is overall a pleasant, albeit synthetic scent, not overpowering. I received a small battery of original samples for testing from Pluto, so there is no possibility of a decant mix-up. And thus, the name "Paradise" fits the fruity scent that also smells of apple.
