Freshly Mowed Meadow

"Déjà Le Printemps" could be described as a plastic scent. It smells almost like a freshly mowed meadow. This inner image appears immediately after I apply "Déjà Le Printemps." In that respect, the name isn't quite right: "Already Spring?" This fragrance is one that can be perceived in the middle of spring when hay is being harvested.
The scent begins immediately with a grassy aroma, and the fragrance of many different plants that grow in a good meadow, such as bitter clover, dandelion, plantain, various types of grass, sometimes a mint, herbs, flowers. It smells as if the meadow has been mowed in the morning dew and now the plants would begin to wilt and ferment. Yes, as if they were already a little wilted on a sultry hot late spring day. Because I smell coumarin. Also astonishing is the very authentic fresh earthy smell that can be clearly detected shortly after mowing a hay meadow. Even when mowing with a scythe, which I have done, you come across mostly loose soil, in molehills, and that smells like earth.
This freshly mowed meadow scenario lasts about an hour.
Then I smell fig leaves; they could also be other tree leaves and fresh thin branches that are torn off by the mower or whose soft shoots are effortlessly cut by the scythe. I can't name it so distinctly.
Then "Déjà Le Printemps" becomes additionally floral, but I can neither identify lily of the valley nor any other flowers. There are simply sweet floral scents. Perhaps wild carrot flowers, nettle flowers? And definitely the scent of clover blossoms. And it still smells of green plants in the fermentation process. I also perceive the slightly sharp and somewhat pungent note of galbanum umbels. There could also be other umbellifers. Some of them also smell strange. A slightly citrusy note mixes in. I cannot identify cedar and vetiver. Nor musk. But moss that is also cut and torn during mowing is perceptible.
When I think about it, "Déjà Le Printemps" is so far the authentic green meadow scent that I have sniffed. Andy Tauer's "Collectible - ZETA a Linden Blossom" comes very close to "Déjà Le Printemps," but is subtler and more citrusy, sweeter, and definitely also smells of linden. It is not a light fragrance. A freshly mowed meadow exudes a rather intoxicating scent. It is a truly rural scent, "Déjà Le Printemps." For all those who miss nature and its scents: This would be a fragrance that clearly reminds one of that. The longevity is good, and the sillage is also strong. I am not sure whether I should find "Déjà Le Printemps" beautiful or perhaps a bit too intrusive.

For me, it would only be a pleasant room scent. Like some of the Oriza perfumes, by the way. I've gone through half of the large sample set, and I wouldn't want to wear any of them so far.

I should have tested Jardins d'Armide again before buying it. That should be a lesson for me - hopefully.

I only have one fragrance, the strong "Jardins d'Armide." However, I bought it a few years after testing and have to say: "What did I find so great about it that I had it on my wishlist?" Well, sometimes things change. It's not a sweet scent. But somehow it reminds me of mothballs now. I liked this one too, but I didn't want to buy it either.

Apparently this is also right up my alley. Could it be more unisex than a women's fragrance?

I also thought of fresh grass. "Vent Vert" is more contained and elegant. With "Deja Le Printemps," I find the chamomile note particularly pleasant. It's truly a modern scent; I don't find it overpowering. I would love more flowers.
