What a pleasant surprise. Peppery church incense, cinnamon. Deeply balsamic and resinous. Sweet without being gooey syrupy.

It’s a house I discovered yesterday. Founded in 1720, and disappeared in 1939, before being reopened in 2012. This is the rerelease of a perfume originally released in… 1900!!!
