Always my blind test winner
I occasionally take out all my decants and enjoy doing a blind test to see if I can recognize all the fragrances or notes; it’s always fun. And every time I smell it blind, my mind runs something like this..
"Hmm, this smells very good, I like it endlessly, hmm, it’s really good. Wow, leather, dark chocolate, woody, it radiates from within, yet is not loud at all. Dark and naughty. 'Bullseye.'"
Then I open my eyes, oh yes, Flame of Gold. Of course! It was love at first sniff.
The fragrance reminds me of the stage of Shakespeare's works. No one here can be perceived as a supporting role; all characters shine in their own way, and the note is the reflection of all our light.
It’s less tough than Tuscan Leather, and less sweet than Ombre Leather Eau de Parfum. She is someone who brings a smile to my face; she doesn’t seek attention from me, she has her own shadows, but that’s exactly why she understands the deepest emotions and complexities of other people, and thus enjoys the “here and now” of her life. Yes, of course, Flame of Gold, gold represents her golden soul.
