Very helpful Review

S. O. S.

So, after two days of latent nausea, I’m back to report on this cute little fragrance :).
I spotted the harmless-looking small bottle from afar at my fragrance dealer. I approached it and found the whole situation almost creepy. Due to previous comments, I was quite excited (perhaps biased) and approached the whole thing with the necessary respect, because after all, I wanted to take the train home later without getting arrested.
So... I opened the thing very carefully and smelled the cap...
Well, what can I say. I quickly closed the cap again, because the stench (yes, stench) of a moldy wooden boat on a tilted ocean burned into my nose! The already dead crew of this boat is still eating salted Katjes herring, washed down with seawater, and how could it be otherwise, they are throwing up on it.
Of course, no one ever cleans up the mess. If you listen closely, the undead are still singing sad songs about suffering and doom. The slimy green octopus sometimes offers comfort.
This must definitely be the signature water of the Kraken pirate from Pirates of the Caribbean. That’s exactly the image I had in my head!

I spared myself and my environment the skin test, I was afraid my arm would fall off.

Maybe it's mega sea art, but it stinks!!!

Fantastic, honest comment :) Thanks for that! I guess I still have to test it, as my curiosity is too strong... at least I'll sniff the cap ;)

I laughed heartily while reading this, but I still **LOVE** this scent. And my surroundings either love it or hate it; there's nothing in between. It's been my signature scent for months now. When I arrive at the clinic in the morning, everyone still knows I'm there by the evening, without even having seen me... and that's in a positive way. Tastes really are so different.

..."We were off Madagascar and had the plague on board! The water was rotting in the buckets... *humming*" Heino trophy for this awesome comment! :-D
I don't think anything like THAT will cross our threshold. ^^

That's true... even the sea gets turned upside down with this one. But you should still have a bit more courage to try it on your skin as a perfume lover. You're not going to be kidnapped by pirates right away... *ARRRRRR* ;)

I have to say, fragrances smell different on the skin than just at the spray nozzle. The impression is often different. I don't know it, so I can't form an opinion.

PS: I find it helpful. Just because it entertained me well. What could be more helpful than that - with all the misery out there?

I should give that a try.

Were you just trying to be funny? Normally, you test on the skin and don’t just smell the cap before describing fragrances. That’s not helpful for users who are genuinely interested in the scent.

Yes, it's definitely something else, even though I find it extremely fascinating! But I also got 3 comments about it at the office (less positive). Still, there's something extremely attractive and repulsive about it at the same time...

I’m not doing that. Nope! I’ve tested Office, that should be enough :)

Very amused! The already dead team.....
And yet, yet, yet I will get a sample. I'm so curious! (I'm sure it will match my photo album)

I enjoy reading the comments about this "stuff" with the stadium sillage of 9.2 over and over again. And (also) after your review, it becomes clear to me: no one should be surprised by how it smells - given the color ;-) And you described that perfectly. So I’ll continue to keep my distance, which this "fragrance" clearly achieves anyway. Helpful trophy :)
