I know it, I don't know it?? Well, I do! Somehow

On the first sniff hmmm smells good... on the second hmm I know this! On the third... oh, not really!? Let's take a closer sniff.

Those who know me know that pink pepper can lure me in, so that's already a hit. With so many delicious fruits, however, it's hard for me to pinpoint individual notes; I would see the pear as the most dominant, and indeed quite heavy, while the rest is rather restrained. That's probably what prevents it from being easily categorized, as it's usually the red fruits that dominate. It remains consistently fruity, the floral note is (unfortunately) only vaguely perceptible, apple is very clear, but skillfully done. Since I only know apple from children's fragrances, I find it very pleasant here. The progression reveals everything quickly, and you don't have to wait long for the base; here it becomes woody and warm, which transforms the somewhat childish notes in my head into a more mature scent. However, like with most heavier fruity fragrances, I do see an age limit here, definitely in the 20s to mid-30s, as it has a young/teenage character, quite seductive, but not old school yet.

I’ve been able to identify Forever Vera as a lighter scent twin based on the ingredients. Since I like it, I’ll probably give this one a try too. I always find Otto Kern great... and then they steal these fragrances from me. Good thing this one is new...
