This is an okay scent that you won't hate if you like vanilla, but it's unfortunately a bit boring to me. I really don't get much else beside the titular note, and this vanilla is a little too sweet in an artificial way. It fits the "island" theme though: It's bright and has some transparent freshness to it, it's even a little floral leaning. Not a heavy gourmand winter vanilla!
I bought a Pacifica sample set on my holidays in the USA this spring, so I'm sure tried the version that is in the new bottle. Even though Parfumo lists this as a new perfume at the moment, I'm pretty sure they just added some notes for marketing reasons and a more accurate description and didn't change the scents drastically. All samples I tried smell just like the reviews for the older bottles say.
Just like their coconut fragrance, this is less exciting than the new detailed notes suggest. I also wonder why they removed tea from the notes list, because I do get the slightest little hint of green tea for freshness, but definitely no cocoa, vetiver, jasmine or lime blossom.
All in all this is a solid summer vanilla, but honestly, there are so many of them in all price ranges that I don't know why I should chose this one.
