Animalistic, Resinous, and Smoky

"Ego"... just the name sounds strong. And so is the fragrance. But it doesn't have an unsympathetic, exaggerated, cold-blooded, and ignorant ego. Rather, it embodies a strong, flexible, and self-assured personality that knows what it wants and what it doesn't. It is warm-hearted and sometimes dreamy.
Its wild side is slightly "animalistic," but this refers not to predators, but to cats and deer that contribute civet and musk. Primarily, "Ego" has a mystical tendency, as frankincense and myrrh create quite a stir and evoke thoughts of Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar. And of "ancient Egyptians" who used to scent themselves with such resins. Yet when your head is in the clouds, your feet can comfortably stay on the ground, thanks to a good dose of patchouli. And for those searching for flowers, they will only find the strong, beautiful aromas of clove and rose, which support the "animalistic" resins, making them very present but not dominant. Lovers of strong, typically 1970s fragrances can certainly indulge their sense of smell with this, as long as they can still find it somewhere.
I personally traded for "Ego" in the souk and see that I am currently the only owner of it. However: Keep your eyes and noses open at flea markets, especially those stocked mostly by private individuals. You can often find "old treasures" at very reasonable prices.

I'm always so curious about your comments, as they offer insights into a universe that remains closed off to most due to its limited availability. I really enjoy reading your descriptions and I'm looking forward to many more historical journeys into the realm of vintage fragrances. Where do you always find them... Archaeologist's trophy!
