Rarer Honey Bear
A completely unknown men's fragrance from the 80s, purchased as a mini for one euro on the bay. That was already a good start. I had no idea what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised during the sniff test.
HONEY. Period. Yes, there are also other heavy, spicy ingredients, but bee saliva dominates this scent. Imagine the absolute honey monster "Success" by MCM, halve the amount of honey in it and its terrifying sillage and longevity, and "Gatsby" was born.
However, this colleague still radiates quite intensely. One could call it exaggerated, even offensive, but in any case, this fragrance fully meets the expectations of its release year. Lush and sweet, yet not synthetic in the slightest. Yes, such things were still possible back then.
There are still some minis available on the bay. I found OFs in an online shop in Singapore. However, I will not buy that, as my 10 ml of "Success" corresponds to about 50 ml of any EdP, and when I'm in the mood for honey, those will do (preferably diluted).
