Well, if Paolo Gigli dedicated this fragrance to the element of water, then one has to think a bit outside the box, because with that name I would have expected a clear, clean, transparent scent.
Instead, I am greeted by all the fruits and flowers that simply cannot grow and ripen without water. Some may like that, or as I do not. I don't mean to offend the fragrance, but I believe it has not done the perfume any favors. Those looking for a fruity, floral scent will certainly not first think of sniffing a blue bottle named "Acqua".
Anyone who prefers a sweeter, fully fruity top note, delicate flowers in the heart, and a rather inconspicuous base will surely feel comfortable with this perfume. For me, it was a surprising experience and I am once again pondering what the artist might have been thinking with this work...;)
