Le Regioni - Sicilia Paolo Gigli

"Le Regioni-Sicilia" by P.Gigli is a FOREST SCENT.
Here in Southern Hesse, more precisely between Ried and Bergstrasse, at the foot of the Odenwald, there is a lot of pine forest growing on sandy soil. In between, there are always steppe-like areas that allow plants to thrive, which are, among others, native to the Mediterranean region.
The climate and soil allow for this.
And the aforementioned forest areas are usually not dense and dark, but "light" and let sunlight through that falls on dry grassland.
And the scents that rise up there, released by the sun, strikingly remind me of the Eau de Parfum that I am now testing.... or vice versa.
Our landscape is perfect for extensive hiking or cycling tours that can create tranquility and contemplation.
The delightful scents that waft from it certainly contribute to this.
Even now, in winter, on sunny days, this impression remains. Although somewhat diminished, it is still clearly perceptible.
"Sicilia" is, as the name suggests, related to this Italian island, but we also have such "Mediterranean" areas here that live and smell with the occasional dryness....
