Reflection Man + Shaving Cream

A barber is whipping up some shaving cream in a bowl with a bristle brush, creating a creamy, foamy lather. The scent from this is heavily lavender based. When you've gotten a shave and a haircut, a barber will often put baby powder on the back of your neck. Combine those two things with an aftershave scent and you have Invasion Barbare. Very few fragrances can achieve a scent that instantly transports you to another location, and this one does that flawlessly.

If a company tried to create a created a foam spray shaving cream can and tried to make it smell like Reflection Man, it would come out something like this.

In the open there is a sharpness to this from the citrus (bergamot, grapefruit) with subtle hints of spice (ginger) and the creamy, foamy shaving cream (lavender). Once this dries down the scent stays relatively similar but you get more musk, less citrus.

It's clean, elegant, and timeless.

Performance wise, it's not leaving a massive silage trail but it does project off the skin very well. One of the very few fragrances that I personally get regular whiffs of throughout the entire day (8+ hours).

If I lost every bottle of fragrance I owned and had to start over, this would be the first purchase. One of the best masculine fragrances ever created.
