The first spray is scratchy, herbal, viscous, tolu balsam? The perfumes I know that contain it: Youth Dew or Dolce Amalfi are extremely impressive. Sweet Temptation strikes me the same way.
With saffron, ginger, cinnamon, and orange, I think of Christmas baking. Far from it: rather bitter, dark green spicy with a splash of freshness.
With this complex list of ingredients and formula, my nose is occasionally overwhelmed. It is not a heavy scent, but it changes multiple times.
Then the heart note sets in, creamy, buttery, caramel-like, soft. The longevity is out of this world, about 10 hours. A little tolu balsam wafts up repeatedly. This makes the scent extraordinary.
The sweet temptation and delicious sweeties on the table. At that price, I’d rather reach for calorie bombs.
Looking at the ingredients, €10 for a milliliter is not justified at all. Somehow, the church has to stay in the village.
Even if the scent is completely newly crafted when it is sold out, that does not justify this amount.
Nonetheless, I find the scent mysterious and tasteful, one that everyone should experience on their wrist.
Great scent. I’d love to have it, but I don’t think the price is justified. I’m also sure that half of the price goes towards the unnecessarily flashy bottle with its pointless Swarovski crystals.
