Delina Parfums de Marly 2017 Eau de Parfum

Yes, that was the first sentence I heard about Delina from my boyfriend. (He is not really interested in perfume at all)

I received a sample of Delina, sprayed it on myself, and was enchanted.
This fragrance is so pure and yet it provocatively captivates.

After the scent settled a bit, I went to my boyfriend and enthusiastically held my arm under his nose: “I would get married in this scent!”… “What? There are special scents for weddings???”… he looks at me confused, as if this is a new invention by the perfume industry to squeeze even more money out of me.

Of course not, but there are fragrances that make special days unforgettable and evoke memories time and again. Delina is definitely one of those for me, even though I could never save it for just one day; I want to smell like this ALL the time!

This irresistibly fruity rhubarb and sweet lychee are definitely the main attraction in Delina. They accompany me all day along with the rose at its heart. In the drydown, it even becomes a bit sweeter and creamier for me thanks to the vanilla. The longevity is a dream!

Personally, I find it to be a very beautiful fragrance that certainly won't get lost in the crowd. Surely there will be more extraordinary scents in the niche world, but for me, a fragrance doesn't always have to be super different. It needs to flatter its wearer and provide a good feeling, maybe even exude confidence!
