This is a great fragrance.
The opening is a bit surprising, with the "mentholy" vibe, but after few minutes the scent is really amazing.
I mainly get vanilla, and the scent is unisex in my opinion. This is very, very sweet (a few girls around me find it almost too sweet but still very nice). Layton is fairly well appreciated and complimented when I wear it in general.
Performance is good, whether the projection or longevity, as expected for the price you pay.
It can be used all year round (maybe not during hot summer days though).
