Scent

Dark, smoky, and nutty

This is a very well made fragrance and a very weird one. The main note is "something has burned" - it smells almost like burnt food. I guess it's a combination of wood, coffee and almond, mainly. It's dark, smoky and nutty, a strange smell but not an unpleasant one. The rest is fruity-floral and gains prominence with time. As the burn fades, the fragrance starts to smell kind of like a cake, or an apple pie. In general, the scent is powdery, has the "consumable" quality and might be perceived as somewhat insipid.

If you like Layton Exclusif, but are put off by the price, try Lamborghini Millennials. It's about ten times cheaper but smells quite similar, though less fruity and a bit sharper.
