Valaya Parfums de Marly 2023 Eau de Parfum

The peach and mandarin are very prominent in the first minutes. The bergamot rounds off these sweet fruits and prevents the scent from appearing childishly sweet, instead making it fresh, lightly citrusy, and elegantly rounded. This interplay shows that it is a niche fragrance. For example, My Way is an in-your-face fruity floral mass-appeal ("pretty") perfume that can easily be broken down into its components. But this fruity freshness is not so easily replicable :) I'm not talking about noticeable complexity that leaves one puzzled, but rather a pleasant feeling, even if you are not familiar with these combinations in everyday life.

The fruity part does not remind one of a cocktail, as the floral touch of Nympheal makes this perfume so unique. I can't find a suitable adjective to describe a "sweet" flower, as I'm not talking about the flowerbed from Gucci Bloom. I am truly impressed by this creation and am usually not so speechless :D Ladies, you won't regret having tested this fragrance :)

I'll try to explain it on the level of associations: it is feminine, but not a comic Barbie version of femininity. This femininity is elegant, youthful, and lovely --> In the style of a la rosé from MFK, just not so "watery" at the eau de toilette level. I see a young woman in her mid-20s who has just started her life in Paris :) but not an American like Emily in Paris, rather her friend Camille - a native Frenchwoman who also has a playful side, but not on the bubble-gum level of Emily in Paris.
