To me, this is an oak fragrance, with hints of other woods and resins. My skin pushes the oak note, so that may be why. I get heavy oak with ash and smoke, then nuances of pine and resins. It's not nearly as smokey as Bois d'Ascese by Naomi Goodsir, it's a different kind of smoke. Not a bad scent, but not a full bottle one for me due to the oak.
