[Anti-]aesthetics crash course
Experiencing this for the first time was a pivotal point in my fragrance journey. I had the same unfathomable feelings after being introduced to a new art-style with a hefty dose of anti-aesthetics through a monumental piece. It reminded me of the feelings I had after watching Béla Tarr’s “Sátántangó”, or listening to The Grey Wolves’ “Legion of Hell” for the first time.
