Sitting in a quiet, shady clearing in the woods, surrounded by ivy-covered oaks, white powder trickles down from the sky. But before it can touch the forest floor, it melts away. I want to capture the magic. I gaze at the delicate little mound that now rests in my outstretched palm. Many tiny lily of the valley heads! They sparkle brightly in the sunlight that flickers here and there through the underbrush like a playful dance of shadows and light on a spring evening.
This beautiful spring fragrance smells floral, soapy, powdery, and woody all at once. This classic must not be missing from my collection. :)
Such a beautiful picture, just like you describe it.
