Scent of an elegant English Gentleman!

The number of those fragrances that instantly hold you after their application are few, but Penhaligon's Sartorial EDT is among those.

It wraps its wearer in a cloud of delight and tranquility in the most perfect way possible. This fragrance has been mixed so impeccably, that no one can go off-base with it's purchase. 1725 by Histoire de Parfums, Invasion Barbare by Parfums MDCI, and Penhaligon's Sartorial crown the genre of barbershop fougeres, but in my humble opinion Sartorial stands out in its elegance and uniqueness from the other two scents.
Immediately after spraying, the mixture of fresh spices and floral notes overwhelm you in a good way, but you do not have to wait long until these initial notes settle down giving the way to the middle notes where lavender has the loudest shout. From here, lavender stays in the game until the final notes set in making this perfume to what it is loved for: A clean, fresh, powdery, barbershop fragrance, that is enveloped with just the right amount of lavender, honey, patchouli and musky notes. Another masterpiece from master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour. We hope that it will not get reformulated so we could enjoy its magnificence for a very long time.
