Opens with a light fleeting ginger that is swiftly overtaken by a clear rose note, which nestles into a pillowy soft white musk in the base.
Don’t let the spices scare you — aside from that light touch of ginger, they really aren’t present at all. I also don’t pick up on any sandalwood in the base. The rose itself is gorgeously soft, all floating pink watercolour clouds.
This may be the fresh, pure rose I’ve been searching for — no big spices or patchouli or fruit or vanilla or resin, just romantic, ephemeral, dewy pink rose.
Projection is quite soft, although I was surprised by the longevity (8-10 hours on my skin). Very traditionally feminine coded.
