My Harrods Exclusive Fragrance
My trip to London had many reasons, but one of them was of course the search for an exclusive fragrance.
The Remarkable Success of Mr Harrod intrigued me right from the start with its notes.
Upon arriving at the department store, I immediately set out to find Penhaligon's.
When I got there, I saw several bottles of The Remarkable Success of Mr Harrod and started testing them right away.
The fragrance starts off very sweet but not overly so.
Plum, raspberry, and cinnamon already promise that this is a very sweet scent.
What I really like here is that the fragrance does not smell synthetic or sticky at all.
As it develops, the sweetness remains and the tobacco becomes noticeable. The notes harmonize very well together.
Unfortunately, I can hardly smell any oud, but the fragrance is still very successful.
I wouldn't have guessed Mr Harrods would be so sweet in real life :)
The fragrance convinced me and has made its way straight into my collection.
Anyone who wants to have this fragrance should definitely test it first. It is by no means a blind buy candidate and stands out from the classic fruit/tobacco/oud scents.
