I personally am not a fan of this perfume - and yet this scent evokes so many images in my mind that I feel compelled to write a review about it.
I can say upfront that probably most people who love those typical Nivea scents will tend to like this one as well.
In fact, rarely has a name been chosen so aptly as Boudoir Belle - one immediately gets the feeling in the opening that one is the invisible witness in a pompous Baroque bedroom of the Palace of Versailles. Surrounded by countless ruffles of brocade and lace, one immediately perceives the scent of antique soap, powdered wigs, and bare skin. One could really imagine that just a few minutes ago, the Sun King himself left the room after attending to the voluminous bed of his Maîtresse.
Boudoir Belle is comparable to a professional mistress - you get exactly what you pay for. This scent is a reliable companion that does not disappoint in terms of the promise on the packaging.
The often-mentioned similarity to Teint de Neige is present and clearly noticeable, however, I would not call Boudoir Belle a dupe - this scent is significantly more present and unfortunately also more overpowering than Teint de Neige. The longevity and sillage are, however, above average.
