Believing Phuong Dang 2016

After "Believing" has left me today, I would like to dedicate a few lines to say goodbye.

Because the scent is good. It is totally extraordinary, I have never smelled anything like it before.

Very cool, completely unsweet flowers. Somehow reminiscent of still water.
Parsley flashes briefly. Bright floral spiciness describes it really well.
The extrait has not the slightest hint of sweetness; one would say it is bone dry in terms of wine.
I perceive "Believing" as clean like freshly washed and at the same time, due to its unsweetness, somewhat earthy/green and very natural.

H/S: I was quite disappointed with other "Phuong Dang" scents (considering the concentration of Extrait de Parfum) - many EdTs last longer. Here, the performance for a fresh scent is really good, and even small amounts are very intensely perceivable.

I bought and first wore it last winter. At the most inconvenient time imaginable.
On that day, I thought to myself that I would much rather smell like something sweet, cuddly, and warm.
So "Believing" was put aside for now; with the note in mind that I need to wear it again on a hot day when I'm in the right mood.

Still, it will leave me now. Unfortunately, the spark has not ignited even now in summer. Probably because I am not quite coping with the complete absence of sweetness.
I am not really convinced by my decision...maybe I will buy a decant back someday.

For the moment, however, I wish the new owner a lot of joy!
Because for summer, "Believing" is really interesting. A beautiful scent like a day by the lake!
