Very helpful Review
Sibayak
06:55, Berastagi, Central Sumatra, Indonesia:
A few steps out of the city, the air is fresh. Let's go outside. A small bus, bags of spices and herbs. A dusty brown track leads to the foot of Gunung Sibayak.
The sun is higher now, it’s getting hot. The humidity lingers in the valley. A narrow steep path winds up the volcano. Meter-high bamboo plants form an impenetrable tunnel. Eucalyptus and old sandalwood trees rise from the underbrush. Red ginger flowers bloom by the roadside. Countless green cardamom pods hang deeply hidden in the bushes.
The air becomes drier, more mineral, thinner. Chunks of volcanic rock line the paths. The thicket clears, the path becomes steeper and rockier. The air is clear, sharp, and fresh.
---
The jungle theme was not hit - however, Southeast Asia can be well associated.
A very fascinating scent that has occupied me for a long time.
The mineral, metallic rock note blends wonderfully with the spicy fresh eucalyptus and the ginger. The citrus of the cardamom also feels fresh. The slightly powdery sandalwood rounds it off at the back. Fortunately, there is no coconut.
A nice PG that has somehow not yet gained a foothold in this forum. Definitely worth a try! It has nothing to do with classic aquatic scents, nor with coconut.

I can't really get into the blue line, even though the descriptions always intrigue me. Thanks for the bold description! :-)

Jangala is quirky, and the distinctly synthetic aspect just isn't mass-market friendly.
