I usually perceive opoponax as very sweet, almost sugary. The interesting thing is that it adds warmth. I don't typically like opoponax, but here it's very well blended and complements the cumin, musk, and oud in the base nicely.

I was very biased because of the opoponax and pepper (which I don't like), but I was pleasantly surprised. I've rarely smelled a scent that is SO masculine.

The animalistic aspect was only very subtly noticeable to me. I actually think it's not worth mentioning. But according to the fragrance notes classification, I'm not the only one who perceived the animalic element.
I'm pleasantly surprised because I didn't think I would like the notes that much.
