Description for the Distinction of Contemporary "Leather Scents"
Contrary to some previous statements, I strongly assume that here too, due to certain olfactory overlaps, the leather impression has been "stretched" by a fruit/berry note (e.g. Beta-Damascenone and Benzoin/Patch) - a component also found in Moonlight Patchouli, Royal Leather, etc.
Somewhat quieter than usual, the aforementioned accord is pleasantly integrated into the context of the overall composition.
The dominant scent impression is that of orange blossom/tangerine with a subtle background of leather.
A cypress/conifer impression, if present, is inseparably linked to the mentioned citrus fruit, purely associatively: Cypress = Tangerine Peel = Orange Blossom + Patch
There are no overly pronounced accents on patchouli, benzoin, or similar; rather, the tobacco note is generated much more by the aforementioned fruitiness of the leather accord.
(Reference scents for clear distinction:
Akowa [Orange Blossom/Tangerine towards Cypress],
Hinoki [Cypress Note]
Moonlight Patchouli [Wild Leather Note, Beta-Damascenone])
Overall, tangerine and berry stand out over leather.
This is well done and indeed may also remind one of new car interiors.
The fragrance possesses a citrusy lightness with sufficient durability of the leather note; by the way, suitable for both genders.
