This fragrance has many (sweet) facets

Since it's hard to find Aquolina scents in stores, Pink Sugar Sparks was once again a blind buy. But since I have never been disappointed by any fragrance from this line, I was sure Pink Sugar Sparks wouldn't let me down either. How right I was!

For me, the perfume has everything a fragrance needs. It is feminine, sweet, vanillic, warm, and sensual. It is also affordable. Perfect!

Freshly sprayed and even one to two hours later, it really smells a lot like Flowerbomb. Like sugary sweet flowers. Then the scent becomes warmer and cozier. At times, it reminds me of Lalique "Le Parfum." One could almost say there is an oriental touch coming through. I have no idea how that could happen based on the fragrance notes. In any case, both scents are very beautiful and now united in this one (much cheaper) perfume. At least if you ask my nose :D But basically, it doesn't really matter which perfumes this scent resembles.

I must also add that I actually find it better than Flowerbomb. It is somehow rounder, softer, warmer. I think this is due to the vanilla that is at least NOT listed in Flowerbomb, and Pink Sugar Sparks has quite a bit of it.

In the end, there remains just this gentle, sweet, vanillic warmth that doesn't come across as too heavy. The flowers and blossoms lighten everything up and make the scent very sensual. Wonderful! What bothers me a little is the slight coffee note that occasionally tries to come through. I am absolutely not a coffee fan. I neither like to smell it nor drink it. Fortunately, this note is not too dominant.

I would say this fragrance is wearable in every season except maybe in summer. I think it works very well in autumn and winter. Longevity and sillage are also top-notch.

I think all the Pink Sugars are great. By the way, I don't find the regular PS that intense; there are way worse ones out there. *lol* And I'm actually quite sensitive to scents.

If you like sweet scents, Aquolina is definitely a great choice! But I would suggest maybe not starting with the original Pink Sugar right away. It really packs a punch. Try starting with Sensual or Sparks instead :)

I've heard so many good things about this line, I should really get a fragrance for myself too. :-)

Yeah, you can really only get them online. It's a shame, but as long as you can get them at all... I love that they're so beautifully sweet.
