Simply Pink

Yesterday, a small sample bottle of the new scent from Aquolina "Simply Pink - by Pink Sugar" fluttered into my home. At the first sniff, the familiar sweet Pink Sugar scent hit my nose. Perhaps a little toned down with a slight fruity note. I believe the fragrance is meant to represent a kind of summer version of the original Pink Sugar. When sprayed, I immediately thought of sparkling raspberry sorbet, which I didn't really like, as I'm not a huge fan of pure fruity scents. The typical Pink Sugar sweetness was almost completely pushed into the background for a few minutes. But then the raspberry faded more and more, and the sweet original Pink Sugar re-emerged with a slight hint of licorice and raspberry. Unfortunately, I couldn't smell any pink pralines. But to be honest, I have no idea what that should smell like :D

For those who are fans of Pink Sugar but want it in a slightly toned-down sparkling/fruity version, this fragrance is quite a good choice :)

Well, I'd rather stick with the original. It's not fruity, and I hate strawberry notes in fragrances or DG.
