My Favorite Pink Sugar
I got this fragrance alongside Misteriosa by Salvatore F. and, unlike him, I fell in love with this one immediately, and I was scared... As I have mentioned before, orange blossom and I don't get along very well, and mandarin is also a candidate. I love eating them, but I don't like it when they dominate in a scent. Having both at once was risky. However, since I gifted it to a friend for her birthday and she described it as fruity Pink Sugar, I got the small size and have not regretted it.
It is sweet, warm, deep, and, in my opinion, much softer than the regular Pink Sugar. To be honest, it almost feels like a standalone fragrance to me. My friend couldn't confirm my perception and perceives it as sweet and fruity Pink Sugar. My boyfriend shared her perception, so I quickly tested both fragrances on different wrists, but my feeling did not change. Pink Sugar Sensual is only conditionally sweet, deep, and slightly salty. The kind of saltiness that reminds me of "Reveal" by Calvin Klein. It is not a loud, sugary cotton candy fairground bomb that waves at you from afar and shouts "Hey, here I am!" Pink Sugar Sensual wraps around your nose gently and doesn't need to call out to you; you come to it on your own. It is sensual, but in a gentle way, inviting closeness that could potentially lead to more, but doesn't have to. The Pink Sugar DNA resonates with me only to a limited extent, but only towards the end... I wouldn't recognize it as a version of that at first sniff.
However, if one were to view the fragrance from the Pink Sugar perspective, this one is softer, gentler, milder, warmer, more mature, and better wearable. I can confidently take more spritzes of it without feeling overwhelmed.
It can be worn well in everyday life, but also on a first date in late autumn and early winter. It gives you a warm scent aura and feels balancing :) I don't want to miss my favorite Pink Sugar anymore.
