This is one of the big three that was launched in 1955. The other 2 are Silvestre by Victor and the mighty Acqua di Selva by Victor. This Mediterranean fougere only has average longevity which is a bummer. However it's not my favorite so it's not a total loss. It is a very green and refreshing scent but I'm not in love with the opening. The Juniper Berries are harsh and it dominates the opening stages. Actually the fragrance is kinda linear so i get no relief throughout the entire wear. I mean I'm not trying to be hard on the fragrance it's just not my favorite. I only have a recent bottle so I'm gonna hunt down a vintage version. I'm gambling that'll be a better experience. The bottom line is that it's a fragrance that's on the cheap side but they're selling vintage bottles online for hundreds of dollars. The greed never ends. Cool bottle though it looks nice on my dresser lol.
