I received Parisian Rose at some point, probably in a swap package, as a sample. Back then, I briefly smelled it from the sprayer and then placed the pen in my storage box. I didn't find the scent particularly interesting at the time, especially since I was quite at odds with roses. However, over time, that changed. When I recently sorted my samples, I came across Parisian Rose again. I sniffed it once more and decided to really test it out. And since I can be bold (or perhaps a bit reckless?) at times, I sprayed it on as a daytime fragrance.
At first, to be honest, I didn't smell much, just a very delicate and slightly citrusy rose. In my mind, I was already searching for a fragrance that I could spray on as a substitute within an hour at the latest, because this one didn't seem promising. However, I had underestimated Parisian Rose! After a few minutes, a powdery, delicate, and rosy scent rose to my nose that was so beautiful I nearly sighed. Sweet and lovely, Parisian Rose truly enveloped me. If I were to say that I thought of fairies and unicorns, that might be a bit exaggerated. But "fairy-tale-like" is indeed a fitting term. A scent one could imagine on a delicate little fairy! Admittedly, I am no fairy, but I am a passionate dreamer. And it fits perfectly to escape mentally from everyday life.
The time when I enjoyed wearing sillage monsters is mostly over. Parisian Rose suits me very well, because although I find it present, it still stays close to me and doesn't annoy those around me. Though - can this scent be annoying? Probably not. Yes, it is well-behaved, absolutely. And those expecting a great evolution might be disappointed, as the transition from the fresh-soft top note to the powdery-sweet base happens quite rapidly. But that doesn't bother me; I don't always need to wear fragrances that constantly change! Parisian Rose is THE scent when I simply want to be relaxed and enjoy. When I want to dream. When I just want to smell well-groomed. I have spent several hours nestled in delicate powdered roses with this fragrance.
Parisian Rose is simply beautiful. I almost regret that I didn't test it much earlier! And I can well imagine that this scent will make it onto my wish list as soon as I finish the sample. But I'll let myself be surprised. And dream a little!
Oops! I wouldn't have tested it at all if I saw "ROSE" in such huge letters up there! That usually doesn't work out, but okay, if you say otherwise, I'll keep it in mind ;-D
Dreamily beautiful comment, I love it! I'm also getting into rose scents, and the word "Puderröschen" is fantastic. So here’s a rose dream trophy for you!
