A great scent with terrible longevity
About 2 or 3 years ago, I received Deep Blue as a Christmas or birthday gift. I was immediately taken with the scent. It could have even become my signature perfume. But the longevity and sillage are just so bad. After 1 to a maximum of 2 hours, you can't smell anything anymore. That's really a shame...
The top note starts off citrusy, green, and resinous with a bit of pepper. The heart note is green-earthy with patchouli but also lavender. The base is powdery, somewhat creamy, and woody. Additionally, there is a slightly balsamic vetiver note and a hint of leather.
