The king is dead - long live the king!

Since the scent itself is quite simple, I don't want to ramble on. I'm surprised that no one has commented on it yet - it definitely deserves a review! :)

About the bottle: Apparently, opinions are divided here. I, for my part, find it very amusing but anything but discreet - now the scent inside just needs to embody the same image. But it's a great idea in itself, though as always, a matter of taste.

The scent: It starts off quite strong and zesty. Fresh lemon accompanied by spicy cardamom - a damn delicious story. Unfortunately, the pleasure doesn't last very long. After about 45 minutes, the initially so self-assured skull king becomes rather shy. He hides away and only makes himself known slightly through a hint of cashmere wood, until he quickly fades away.

Conclusion: If one were to claim that this is a bad scent, one would have to lie. The basic idea, the composition of the fragrance, and the individual components are really well chosen - however, it unfortunately cannot convey this outwardly with decent performance.
I don't even want to talk about "sillage" here :D the longevity is fine in itself, but what good is that if you only get to experience the scent yourself?^^ Ultimately, for €19.99, you can't go too wrong and shouldn't expect too much. So definitely not a bad purchase, but also not a supernova!

Maybe with "To Be the King," it's not about being the king of others, but rather of oneself! :)

Yes, I would have wished for that too ;) But as we know from history, not every king wins the hearts of his people and ends up pretty quickly under the guillotine :D
