The Queen Police 2013

The vacation is over. Back in my favorite city! Even before it started, I picked up a few bargains in some perfumeries - perfect as gifts for girlfriends and their daughters. I found To be The Queen to be a relatively wearable teen fragrance back then, and it was also on sale, the bottle is funny - so I thought, why not. And yet somehow it wasn't gifted. Now it has flown around the world and is sitting on my nightstand. Here we go, eyes closed and spray - I boldly sprayed it on my wrist.
First up - raspberry. Really sweet and slightly sticky. After half an hour, it becomes a bit softer, and patchouli breaks through. But it doesn't take over, as the sweetness remains - it is stabilized by jasmine.
From all the citrusy-spritziness that I read about, there is really no trace. I can't sniff out either pineapple or orange. It faintly smells like those canned mandarins, after the syrup, but that's about it.
While the fragrance develops, I take a look at the bottle. Well, it's not exactly a success either. The initial idea with the skull has already been done. Now they had the "brilliant idea" with the crown. I hope it stays that way and no skull with a nurse's cap, cowboy hat, etc. comes along. Just a thought on the side.
I kept sniffing my wrist, and now it smells soapy. No, more like fabric softener. I once had one from Lenor, something with Oriental. So generally, it has something oriental, but it falls flat. It could also be me - the sweet and oriental scents don't really suit me somehow.
All in all - it might be a teen experience, but hardly something for everyday wear. Too sticky and too sweet. Maybe something for a disco night? It lasted about 4 hours on me. It will surely find its lovers, but for the perfume world, it is not necessarily an enrichment. Something similar has already existed and will continue to exist.
