Signature Scent from Ireland - new edition

Pomp&Co's Signature Scent goes back to the story of an Irish barbershop in Dublin, who back in the 1940s mixed his own hair pomades with various scented waters, giving his customers not only a beautiful haircut but also a distinctive scent when leaving the barbershop. Decades later, his grandchildren took over the barbershop from him and gave birth to the idea of having a perfumer re-issue their grandfather's then very popular Signature Scent. Great idea and so much for the storytelling! :)

When sprayed on, the top note lavender is perceived most strongly, followed by bergamot and lime. Immediately afterwards, the sandalwood with the amber is strongly present. In drydown it has a pleasantly subtle sweetish-smokey character. In my opinion, the sandalwood used is not the sweetish variety, but rather the tart variety. From the musk itself, I can personally perceive nothing.

It is not a complex fragrance, but those who like small niche fragrances and the fragrance components will not be disappointed by this fragrance. There is also a hair pomade from this brand with the same fragrance, a great idea if you want to combine both
