As an ardent lover of most things Daniela Roche Andrier and Prada, I naturally had to go out of my way to try the new Infusions. Infusion d'Amande (IdA) strikes me as about the half way point between two pillars of the brand: Infusion d'Iris and Candy.
IdA starts with a realistic blast of green almond and sweet musk. As it dries it gets progressively less sweet and more powdery clean. This doesn't ever really get to gourmand despite the notes. IdA is musky, warm, inoffensive and verges on baby-powderish without smelling like Teint de Neige. Like many Pradas there is a sheerness, a transparency and weightlessness to composition that makes this inherently easy to wear and easy to like. That being said, this isn't much of a statement maker. I like it, but I don't need a full bottle.
