Soft, subtle gourmand & powder scent

Powdery, clean and elegant. Definitely a sister (not twin) to Infusion d'Iris, but the younger, warmer and more playful one.
Even though neither are listed, I smell iris powder and sparkling, soap-bubbly aldehydes in the opening. The almond note is sweet and smooth, it reminds me of candied wedding almonds. There is a slight milkiness to them, too. Tonka and heliotrope aren't really distinguishable from almond here - this doesn't have the spicier facets of tonka or the doll-like aspects of heliotrope, everything just smells like sweet almond dragees. I forgot that this had a star anise note when I was testing it, but thought that it had an anise-like undertone, so I'd say this note is more prominent than the votes suggest, though still subtle.

I personally prefer scents like this to be a little creamier, so I wouldn't chose this for myself. Nevertheless I like it a lot.
In my opinion it's would make a perfect work scent for someone who enjoys gourmands and very feminine scents, but wants something understated for the office. It's not quite as serious as Infusion d'Iris, but not overtly girly either. The light blue hue of the packaging fits the scent very well.
