What Sauvage should be
I really like it.
Modern sweet ambroxan touch over a lavender masculine backbone. Some classic citrus in top and here we go on a modern fougere trip. No moss, but it gets compensated with patchouli and ambroxan sparkle. In the drydown I even spot some of that old school trad male Eau Sauvage similarity but slightly modern. "Mineral sweeter". Graphite.
This is known as a polished Sauvage (non - Eau !). Well I say, polish on. I am not a Sauvage fan. Perhaps I am so much into lavender that I see in Sauvage a disruptor of the purple magic, where Carbon encapsulates it and lifts it to the stage. That lavender explosion? I simply want it.
Of all clamied "synthetics" I like this one the most.
