Hey fragrance enthusiasts,

we all have little time, so I’ll keep it short and concise this time!

I can’t remember exactly how it happened, but the scent came to me, like the child to the virgin.
From the first breath, I liked this dry, fruity, leathery aura. But it always felt too harsh and rough for me, especially for 250,-!

However, as I progressed step by step on my perfume journey, I realized what quality this fragrance holds:

1. The bottle is incredibly high-quality and stylishly crafted.
2. The scent lasts "only" about 8 hours on the skin, but those hours pack a punch in terms of sillage!
3. Finally, I discover a fragrance where I can truly sniff out all the notes (except "forest")! Dry leather, delicious cocoa, fruity fig, and other dried fruits!
4. The scent is equally good from top to base, and I find that wonderful. It smells exactly the same after 8 hours as it did at the beginning; it doesn’t develop into an Ambroxan, vanilla, shower gel, or wood chaos.
5. It’s wearable all year round. Whether in warmth (that’s when the fruits come out) or in cold (that’s when the leather and cocoa come to the fore).

In short: For me, truly a masterpiece. When my last decant is used up, the bottle will come to me!
It’s a shame that the fragrance gets almost no attention... or maybe that’s a good thing?

Thanks for reading!

Love you all

Moritz

a review that I can particularly relate to. I especially know the disappointment when a perfume ends up with Ambroxan, vanilla, or a somewhat abstract artificial base again. And I also have no problem with a consistent scent. As long as it smells GOOD.

On my current fragrance journey into leather scents, you definitely caught my attention with this one... ;-)

The fig is very green for us. I also get a smoky scent like tobacco. It's mysterious where that's coming from; it's not mentioned in the pyramid. I'm pleasantly surprised by this fragrance, anyway.

Not at all, the fig is not fresh. More on the dry side. No forest, no greenery. Dark and dry.

Fig often has a green-herbaceous taste in fragrances. Is it very noticeable? That’s what kept me from testing the scent.
