La Véritable Eau de Menton Prestige de Menton 1947

For my taste, very lemony-fresh, slightly zesty but not piercingly sharp, no toilet cleaner scent, not sour, somehow also soft-lovely and yet slightly bitter. Very pleasant. Since this fragrance consists solely of pure natural lemon essences, they must be special lemons, as this scent is much softer than I am used to from lemons or essential lemon oil. As expected, the fragrance evaporates very quickly. However, a fresh and lovely-bitter scent remains faintly perceptible on the skin for a few (too) few hours (from up close, near skin). Another lovely summer fragrance for a refreshing boost in between.
Enriched with some menthol crystals, for me, the ultimate freshness kick on hot days and much more pleasant than 4711 Cool Ice.
