First of all: No, it is not BUT that doesn't mean this little gem isn't a wonderful fragrance.
I am currently testing various offerings from the brand Profumum Roma and came across Ambrosia. A lovely perfumer included this scent as a little extra and I tested it before the actual fragrance.
The scent opens with a fig that is not overpowering. Pear lingers delicately in the background.
In the dry down, there is light sandalwood and gentle almond, which remains until the end.
The beauty of this fragrance is that you can really smell each individual note. Everything harmonizes very well together. The scent is neither overwhelming nor too sticky. A few spritzes are enough to perceive the fragrance all day long.
Is it THE fig scent for me? No, but as I said, it definitely deserves a little review.
I always love fragrances, and sometimes it's nice to find the fig scent among fig fragrances or the leather scent among leather fragrances... but the search can be fun, and often you discover something even if a few things are missing ☺️ 🏆
