We have already tested several Profumum Romas and mostly we were absolutely thrilled!
In no time at all, 5 of these enchanting bottles have found their way to us.
However, there was still a mystery - Meringa!
Vanilla is, the newly discovered dream! It works almost all the time and wonderfully rounds off fragrances.
Orange blossom can be tricky, but we really liked it in Vanitas.
Jasmine can be too much, but when well dosed, it adds a great note.
Tonka bean is often too spicy for me, but in Arabians Tonka, I love it.
In short, the scent can be great, but it doesn't have to be.
What the heck, a no doesn't exist. So what to do? Traveling to Zurich to test the scent is too far from Berlin. You can't get samples.
Oh well, I called Osswald in Zurich, but the scent was sold out. Shortly after, however, I received the notification that the scent was available again, so I quickly ordered it and started a sharing. It was already full within a few hours.
Oh my God, I was so excited! And all because of a scent, how crazy!
And when it finally arrived, I was a bit scared.
Completely in vain!
This scent is a masterpiece of its art!
In the opening, I find the vanilla perfectly rounded off with the orange blossom, the interplay is a delight for the nose! When you close your eyes, you can see the blooming orange trees right in front of you - how the sun makes the blossoms shine!
Among the fragrant orange trees, here and there are wonderful jasmine flowers that fit perfectly into the composition. The slightly spicy, bitter tonka bean balances the sweetness a bit and gives the whole thing a framework.
Everything fits together perfectly here. I find it smells particularly special and noble.
I would wear it more in spring/summer, but not when it's too warm.
This scent will stay with us, and we are really glad to have taken this risk.
My husband wears the scent too, and it smells good on him. On me, it appears more floral, while on him the tonka bean is more prominent.
The sillage could be a bit stronger for me. But who wants to be that strict :)
Spring can come, I want to take my Meringa out!
The longevity is as expected for a vanilla-jasmine scent, with more than 8 hours being good.
