Taiga Pryn Parfum 2016

Very Controversial Scent
Taiga is a controversial scent for me: at the spray opening, it smells as if some plants are rotting. Shortly after application, the fragrance appears mossy, earthy, and quite warm, with a hint of fir scent coming through. However, there is always something stinky lurking in the background. The scent then becomes fresher and develops into something more nuanced. I thought I could detect pine cones, a bit of pear, and cinnamon. Then a perfumey note comes in that bothers me because it feels artificial. As it progresses, a sharp, sour undertone emerges. I don’t know what the Taiga smells like, but I think the name is very well chosen. Taiga would be a great natural scent if it weren't for this slight perfumey note. Many perfume enthusiasts will likely be bothered by the "natural" notes mentioned above. Therefore, I give it a 7.5.
Oh, one more thing: if you like a green forest scent, you’ll be well served with "Polo" by Ralph Lauren.

Piercing and sour doesn't sound good for the side scent. Still, your description is interesting. I guess one should form their own opinion about it.

I have a sample lying around somewhere, I need to test it again. I never noticed anything rotten, otherwise I find it very nice.
